Why we exist

The internet is full of affiliate sites that copy the manufacturer’s spec sheet and slap five stars on everything. We do the opposite: every claim is traceable to a dated source, and our Trust Score follows a fixed rubric that treats every product the same way.

How we score

Every product earns a Trust Score out of 10, built from three weighted pillars — build quality, performance, and value — alongside the strength of the evidence behind them. The same rubric applies to a $20 gadget and a $2,000 appliance, so scores are directly comparable across the whole site.

Research-based, and hands-on when it counts

Most of our reviews are research-based: we synthesize buyer reviews from major retailers and independent expert testing into one honest verdict. When we’ve bought and physically tested a product ourselves, we mark it with a Hands-On Tested badge, so you always know which is which. We never invent a rating.

How we make money

FindorLabs is reader-supported. When you buy through a link we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That commission never buys a better score. See our affiliate disclosure.
