This policy explains what information FindorLabs collects when you visit findorlabs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run an independent product-review site.
Who we are
FindorLabs (“we”, “us”) publishes independent product reviews at https://findorlabs.com. You can reach us any time at contact@findorlabs.com.
What we collect
You can read everything on FindorLabs without giving us any personal information. We don’t sell products directly, and we don’t require you to create an account.
We collect two kinds of data:
- Information you give us — for example, your email address and message when you contact us. We use it only to reply and to correct our content.
- Information collected automatically — like most websites, our analytics record non-identifying usage data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and the site that referred you. This helps us understand what’s useful and improve our reviews.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to measure traffic with privacy-respecting analytics, and to make affiliate links work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site will still function.
Affiliate links
Some links on FindorLabs are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer (such as Amazon) may set a cookie so any resulting purchase is credited to us, at no extra cost to you. Those purchases are handled entirely by the retailer under their own privacy policy — we never see your payment details. See our affiliate disclosure for more.
Third-party services
A few trusted third parties process data on our behalf, or when you follow a link off our site — for example our analytics provider, our hosting provider, and the retailers behind our affiliate links. Each operates under its own privacy policy governing the data it collects.
How long we keep data
Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained to track long-term trends.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of its sale, which we do not do. To make a request, email contact@findorlabs.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children’s privacy
FindorLabs is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
